A better Healthy Acne Solutions for your skin
If you landed on this page and had not visited my main web site, I would like to introduce myself: my name is Paulina and I’m a Facial/Skin Care Specialist. BeIow are some of the causes for acne, recommended ingredients and daily treatment routines.
Causes of Acne
Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become clogged with oils, bacteria and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads, acnes, etc… Acne affects people of all ages, often starting in the teen-aged years and sometime lasting through adulthood. Here are some main causes of acne:
1.) Overproduction of Oils (Sebum) by your sebaceous glands (oil gland)
2.) Hormone Levels
3.) Acne-Causing Bacteria (P. Acnes or Propionibacterium acnes)
4.) Inflammation
5.) Adverse reactions to beauty products and foods
Effective ingredients to combat acne and inflammations
Although there are many ingredients that are good for your skin, below are some ingredients that I think do help reducing acne and skin inflammations:
1.) Adapalene belongs to a class of retinoids. Adapalene (0.3%, 0.1%) is a topical treatment for acne vulgaris and help prevent pre-mature aging. It works by affecting the growth of cells, improving oil productions, and decreasing swelling and inflammation.
2.) Prebiotics/Probiotics are living microorganisms that can provide exceptional health benefits to the skin when used topically or orally (gut benefits). Prebiotics/Probiotics are good bacteria act as a natural protective shield against pathogenic bacteria. They are also the secret to anti-aging skin and are foods to healthy microbiome, that are fungi and bacterial species live on the skin surfaces to protect the skins. Topical probiotics calm irritated skin, stimulate key proteins like collagen and elastin, increase hydration, and plump up skin volume, fine lines and wrinkles.
3.) WATER WATER WATER WATER – hydrates your skin and reduce skin inflammations.
Acne Treatment Routine
As you might know, some products will work better for your skin than others. There are other products like Retin-A Micro or Accutane. They work well for some people and irritated for others. There are no magic lotions — it will take daily treatments and time for your skin to heal and get better. If you follow my below routine with the recommended products, I think you will like the result in 2-6 months.
DAYTIME ROUTINE
1.) Cleanse your skin with Probiotic Acne Treatment Cleanser by GLOWBIOTICS
The Probiotic instantly kills all the bacteria on your skin surfaces, absorbs, lifts, and removes dirts and oils from your pores. The probiotic also help to prevent future breakouts making it a perfect match for acne treatment.
2.) Tone your skin with Witch Hazel Solutions – restore and balance your skin pH
3.) Hydrator/Moisturizer – Probiotic Instant Refreshing Gel Hydrator
Although you don’t need more oils on your acne skin, it is important to hydrate your skin. This refreshing lightweight gel moisturizer not only hydrates your red inflamed skins, but also restores your skin’s natural moisture barrier without ever feeling heavy. Probiotic moisturizers are fantastic for promoting healthy skin and removing bacteria from the skin. It also provides effective anti-acne effects with our one-of-a-kind Bioidentical Barrier Repair Complex, which boosts your skin’s natural defenses.
4.) Tinted Sunscreen SPF 30 Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB or non-tinted
This amazing sun care is chemical-free and safe for those wishing to avoid toxins, parabens, sulfates, or other known harmful ingredients in their skincare. Non-irritating and convenient to use, our products are sheer, so they pair well with makeup and other skin care products, protecting you from the effects of the sun, and gentle enough for the face and neck. The best part is the probiotic layer preventing breakouts all day and nothing penetrate into the pores to clog including makeup and the sun.
EVENING ROUTINE
1.) Cleanse your skin twice with Probiotic Acne Treatment Cleanser by GLOWBIOTICS
2.) Tone your skin with Witch Hazel Solutions – balance your skin pH
3.) Apply a thin layer of Acne Treatment – Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1% – In my opinion, 0.1% strength works better than 0.3% since your skin is inflamed, irritated and painful – don’t want to add more side effects to your skin. Besides that, it is available over the counter instead of dermatologist prescription required. Also, I prefer NOT to use any generic brand on my client’s face and neck.
4.) Apply and tap a generous layer of Calming Restorative Treatment, hydrate while you heal.
This revolutionary daily restorative hydrating serum is the ultimate cure for dry, itchy, and over-treated skin. Growth factor-mimicking peptides and skin tighteners help boost collagen and elastin, offering a significant level of hydration to stressed, compromised skin. This is the perfect dry skin treatment for even the most sensitive skin. In addition to the collagen booster serum, the hydration alone is enough to truly restore your skin.
A final note
Another possible cause for acne skins is the allergic reaction from fragrances, chemicals, and preservatives in skin care products; this is one of the reasons I have selected to use the Probiotic products in my facial spa to treat acne and skin inflammations.
Below are my personal favorite daily routine products.
